Well my little beach ball under my shirt officially feels like a bowling ball. This week my little girl has turned into a large weight in my belly. My stomach is growing and everyday jobs are getting a little harder to do: such as painting my toe nails, putting on my socks, and shaving my legs! It's all for a good cause, right? The weight gain is starting to rub me the wrong way as I slowly watch any type of figure I once had, fade away. I'm still super excited for Millie to be here and to think that our due date is less than 10 weeks away now, is pretty nuts!
Her room is all painted and things are slowly coming together. There is still a lot of work to be done in her room to be baby ready, but we are making progress. I have not had that "nesting" feeling yet, so it is hard to get motivated to clean up and set up everything in her room. The letters are done and I have the fabric I'm going to use for the curtains (just need to sew them). We still need to order her dresser and figure out where everything in her room is going to go. For all of you that voted, I'm going to be ordering the brown tree. After seeing the pink on the walls, I think the brown will be the best bet! :) Thanks for all your votes.
Next week I'm going to be back in VA to help my students celebrate the end of the school year, I'm very excited to see them and all my co-workers again! However, this final "see you later" will be a little harder than the last, because I wont know when I will see everyone again.

29 weeks, Dancing Queen
Even though we are almost at 30 weeks, I felt the need to post something for week 29. It was a pretty low key week until Wednesday that is... the first concert at the Sands Bethlehem Event Center was Wednesday night and it was AWESOME! Incubus put on a great performance, it was packed, people were having a great time, and Millie was dancing all night long! I have done the research, it is a-okay for you to go to a concert when you are pregnant, but it certainly was out of routine for Miss Millie. She was a mover and shaker all night long! Her Dad is glad that she enjoyed the music as Incubus is one of his favorite bands! :)
We are also getting further along with the nursery. All the paint is trimmed out and cut in and the rolling will begin tomorrow. I also spent time finally painting the letters for her room. I have been debating and researching all the different ways to paint and display baby names in the nursery and have been completely wishy washy. Until I found this awesome idea online. I painted the outside of the letters and then used mod podge to adhere scrapbook paper to the tops of the letters. I'm so happy with how they turned out and I'm very excited to find the perfect place for them in her room. Very slowly things are beginning to coming together and this whole having a baby thing is getting a little more real. Only 11 more weeks! Crazy!

28 Weeks: Garden, Glucose, and Grand Opening!
Well Miss Millie is working hard to get adjusted to her life in PA! We have pretty much settled in as far as unpacking from our travels back and forth to VA. We spent all day Saturday outside with Daddy! Mowing, pulling weeds, and planting our first garden. We have 4 rows of corn, a row of green beans, a row of peas, and a row of cucumbers. The garden will force me to spend some time outside this summer when I'm tempted to stay in and just enjoy the AC! :) I'm actually really excited and hope that everything grows. Last year we only had a small area of green beans, so we are going all out this year! Freezing veggies and possibly making baby food will be an adventure. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Today I had the wonderful opportunity to drink that famous "Orange Drink" and wait an hour to have my blood drawn. As I counted down the minutes to the needle I started to feel a little queezy, but I think I was just freaking myself out! Then I had to give myself a little internal pep-talk, reminding myself that in just 13 weeks, give or take some, I have to push this baby out and if I get queezy at the thought of a little needle, I need to buck up and put on my big girl pants! Well I am happy to say that I survived and the nurse that took my blood did a wonderful job of distracting me!
Tonight is another important event in our family. My Dad has been working very hard the last few years to make an Event Center in Bethlehem a reality. Tonight is the soft opening for friends and families. It is a test run to make sure that all the kinks are worked out. I'm so proud of all his hard work and am super excited to see the bands and check everything out tonight! :)
Finally I need some help from everyone, I'm doing an owl theme in the nursery and would like to put a tree decal on the wall. The walls will be painted a light pink and I found these two trees that I really like. Please let me know which one you like best!
